San Pedro de Atacama
Eight days in the driest desert on the planet: geysers that wake before the sun, salt lagoons where the body floats without effort, a balloon flight over the Licancabur and the clearest sky in South America.
See the journey
Private luxury journeys across the three latitudes that make Chile the last country on earth.
Chile stretches 4,300 kilometres between the driest desert on the planet and the ice that closes the continent. Halfway down, 3,700 kilometres off the coast, an island holds the mystery of the most remote inhabited place on earth.
HOWENH designs one journey for each of those latitudes. Private departures, hotels with a point of view, guides who know the territory by name, and logistics that take care of everything so that the only thing left to do is look.
HOWENH was born from a simple conviction: that the most extraordinary places on the planet are not visited, they are inhabited — even if only for an instant. Our name stands for the possibility of transcending by becoming landscape: of no longer watching nature from the outside and beginning to form part of it.
Every journey we design seeks a deep connection with the territory — with its light, its silence, its history — able to transform, however slightly, the way we see the world.

See the journeyHOWENH is a Chilean luxury travel company. Direction sits with two people who answer for the journey end to end: one for its commercial standard, one for its financial and operational execution.
Working under their direction across the three destinations is an extended team: transport companies and drivers, hotels and lodges, interpreters, marketing specialists and travel agencies — all held to a single standard.
Katherine leads the company and sets its commercial direction. She defines the standard of every HOWENH experience, approves each itinerary before it is offered and holds the senior relationship with travel agencies, partner hotels and private clients.
Eduardo directs the financial and operational side of the company. He negotiates the terms of the supplier network, governs the cost structure behind every journey and is accountable for the operating standard that guarantees each itinerary is delivered exactly as promised.
Write to us and Katherine will reply with a proposal built around your dates, your pace and the people you travel with.
